How BiWaze® Works
BiWaze® simulates a natural cough using controlled pressure cycles:
- Positive pressure (insufflation) to expand the lungs
- Rapid negative pressure (exsufflation) to assist an effective cough
- Oscillation therapy to loosen thick mucus
This enables effective non-invasive airway clearance therapy in patients unable to cough adequately on their own.
Clinical Indications
BiWaze® Cough is used in adult and paediatric patients with impaired or ineffective cough, including:
• Neuromuscular disorders (e.g., SMA, DMD, MND/ALS)
